Montenegro is growing and developing and is becoming more and more interesting for tourists, as well as investors.
Thus, after hotels in Croatia and Serbia, the well-known Austrian hotel group Falkensteiner is further expanding its operations in Southeast Europe with a new investment in Montenegro.
Falkensteiner took over last year Queen of Montenegro, a Montenegrin four-star hotel, which after renovation and redesign is now called "Falkensteiner Hotel Montenegro"
"Until recently, Montenegro was still a secret. That has changed rapidly in the last two years. We decided to take over Hotel Montenegro for two reasons: On the one hand, because the new destination has a lot to offer, and on the other hand, because we know that more and more people want to spend their holidays at a high level. Opportunities for such a thing in Montenegro are currently limited. However, anyone booking a Falkensteiner hotel knows they will have the usual standard that is recognizable", Points out Otmar Mihaeler, executive director of FMTG.
Falkensteiner Hotel Montenegro, a newly renovated four-star hotel located above Bečići beach, has 236 rooms and suites, each with a balcony overlooking the sea or mountains, and has its own private beach.
"From this year, in addition to the hotel's private beach, Falkensteiner Montenegro will present to guests a new garden design with a new outdoor pool. The panoramic pool with large sun terrace offers ideal conditions for refreshment during the hot summer days combined with a great view", Said Marko Ilic, general manager of the hotel.
The color palette of the Montenegrin coast and the colors of folk costumes served as the inspiration for the creative director of the Falkensteiner Group Bei Mitterhofer and her associate Dejana Marković from the company Arhitekt De-sign. The golden yellow color of the sun that evokes warmth and cheerful feelings appears on the details of the interior as the dominant color. It is joined by the turquoise color of the sea, which is associated with relaxing moments and a cheerful atmosphere.
"These tones are found on plush materials, gold and copper undertones on metal, and natural colors and materials dominate the hotel terraces and open bars. Since the interior architecture of the existing hotel was impossible to change, we used mostly textiles and large items such as lamps and curtains and playful carpets with which we achieved warmth from the slogan Welcome home which the Falkensteiner hotels nurture", Explains Dejana Markovic.
FALKENSTEINER REPOSITION: FOCUS ON FOUR TYPES OF HOLIDAY MOTIVATIONS
Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences is repositioning itself, aiming to become the leading hotel group in Central and Southern Europe.
The new branding process consists of redistributing the hotel to four types of holiday motivations - "activity", "pleasure", "fun" and "relaxation", while the basis of repositioning is primarily a promise to guests: "and each phase of life offer a hotel for ideal moments of rest ”.
