Croatia has succeeded and achieved its goal of applying for and obtaining a visa for the United States of America in less than a month. That figure of 2000 people almost certainly guarantees that the rejection rate this year will be less than three percent, which again leads to the conclusion that it is the last in a series of requirements that the state must meet in order for the United States to abolish its visas.
This Friday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is coming to visit Croatia, when more official information should be found out.
Also, as recently announced, work is underway to abolish double taxation. Both agreements could, if all goes well, be signed in the spring of next year.
