HTZ announces a call for marketing cooperation with strategic partners

It was held today 27st session of the Tourist Board of the Croatian National Tourist Board at which the members of the Council, among other things, adopted the decision on tendering Calls for expressions of interest to implement marketing cooperation with strategic partners in 2024-2027.

It is about a program related to cooperation with tour operators which offer organized programs for Croatia and s carriers that travel to Croatian destinations in air, bus, rail or ship transport and that introduce new or strengthen existing programs. 

"We want to continue the very successful cooperation with the most important partners in the broadcasting markets from the tourism industry, because in this way we actively promote the Croatian tourist offer and attract targeted foreign guests. By cooperating with strategic partners, we also raise awareness of the Croatian tourism brand in the most important markets, especially through the implementation of joint campaigns that are the subject of this call.He said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board. 

At the session, council members adopted Amendments and additions to the Annual Work Program for 2023, respectively GPR operational plan and this is due to the expected increase in income of 8,1 percent compared to the plan, which is why the Croatian Tourist Board is obliged to adopt the above-mentioned amendments in accordance with the law.

It is about increased income from the tourist tax, tourist membership fee and other sources of income that will be used for advertising, i.e. additional marketing and promotional activities until the end of this year and the beginning of 2024 with the aim of visibility and continuous presence on the international tourist market. 

Also, with regard to the vacant position of the director of the HTZ Representation in London, and after the departure of the newly elected director, the members of the Council also adopted the decision to announce Public competition for the position of director of the office in Great Britain based in London. 

Let's also add how the members are of the Tourist Board adopted certain amendments to the Work Regulations for employees in representative offices and branches abroad, and based on the request TZ of the city of Rijeka approved membership in an international organization Aromas Itinerarium Salutis (AIS).

It is a non-profit organization based in Valencia that was founded with the aim of preserving the tangible and intangible heritage of historic pharmacies and medicinal gardens through the creation of a route that will be a candidate for the Council of Europe Cultural Route certificate.
