Work has begun on breaking through the second pipe of the Učka tunnel. As part of the project, the full profile of the 28-kilometer highway from Pazin to the Učka tunnel will be upgraded. In addition to upgrading the full profile, 11 viaducts, 14 underpasses, three overpasses and the Rebri rest area will be built.
