Representation of Croatia at the business fair in Rimini

Croatian tourist agency i Representation of HTZ in Italy represent the overall Croatian tourist offer at the fair TTG Travel Experience, which will be held from October 11 to 13, 2023 in Rimini. The fair is intended exclusively for the business audience and is one of the most important tourist events in Italy, where more than 2200 exhibitors from all over the world.

"During the three days of the fair, we will meet with tour operators, agencies, carriers and professional associations from the area of ​​Italy in order to improve existing and establish new business collaborations. The previous part of the fair has shown that there is an exceptional interest in Croatia, and most of the partners have confirmed their satisfaction with this year's tourism results. Preparations for the upcoming season are already underway, we will work intensively on the promotion of Croatia, so after the fair we will be in Rimini expects to participate in three business workshops for travel agents and carriers, which will be held in Bari, Verona and Padua during November." she stated Viviana Vukelic, director of the HTZ Representative Office in Italy, adding that the goal of these activities is a sustainable increase in organized tourist arrivals to Croatian destinations.

The fact that it is a fair where, among other things, the latest tourism trends are presented, is also confirmed by the information about the co-exhibitors, i.e. Croatian entities that present their offer as part of the Croatian stand, among which are tourist board of Kvarner, Dubrovnik-Neretva County i of the city of Zagreb, including Plitvice Lakes National Park, Jadrolinija, Liburnia hotels & villas te tourist agency Amber Travel.

During the three days of the fair, numerous business meetings and meetings of key actors in tourism will be held, and in addition Italy as the host country will be presented via 60 destinations, among which i Croatia. The exhibition area of ​​the fair is divided into three thematic units one of which is dedicated to Italy, while the other two include other world destinations, as well as the offer of tour operators, agencies, carriers and other providers of tourist services.  

Let's add how they are, according to system data eVisitor, Italians in Croatia so far achieved around 945 thousand arrivals and 4,1 million overnight stays, which compared to last year presents growth of 5 percent in arrivals and 1 percent in overnight stays, and positive trends and growth in traffic have also been recorded by the Italians in the current part of October, i.e. during the postseason.
