The Tourist Board of the Island of Krk, the Tourist Board of Kvarner and the Istrian Development Tourist Agency (IRTA) are organizing a training program for cycling guides on the island of Krk.
The training will last for five days and will take place from 26.-28.03.2021. i 10 and 11.04.2021 in the city of Krk, at the address Trg BJ Jelačića 2, in compliance with all epidemiological measures.
The program will cover materials important for providing quality and safe service of bicycle guides: cartography, orientation, physiology, sports nutrition and training, making bicycle packages, managing a group of cycling tourists and guides, first aid, riding techniques, field bicycle servicing, as well as acquaintance with the legal regulations. What is important, successful participants will receive a Certificate of passed professional training on the basis of which the Croatian Cycling Federation can create a bicycle guide license for 2021.
The maximum number of participants is limited to 25 participants, and as the program is co-financed by the Tourist Board of the Island of Krk, Kvarner Tourist Board, HGK Rijeka County Chamber, preference is given to participants from the island of Krk, followed by Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and other participants.
