TZ Central Istria awarded €32.890,00 in grants for 2023 to events

Tourist Board of Central Istria she announced the results public call for grants from the program "Support for Manifestations" in 2023.

Based on the public call, 57 applications were received within the given deadline, of which 51 met the given criteria. The public call was aimed at events that raise the quality of the tourist offer in central Istria, contribute to the growth of the number of guests and increase consumption, especially in the period before and after the season and promote central Istria as an interesting tourist destination.

A total of EUR 32.890,00 was allocated to the approved events. The highest amount of support awarded is €2.500,00, and the lowest amount is €130,00.

The funds will be used to finance cultural and entertainment, sports and ecological events in the area of ​​the Tourist Board of Central Istria, i.e. the area of ​​the City of Pazin and the municipalities of Cerovlje, Gračišće, Lupoglav, Karojba, Pićan, Sveti Lovreč, Sveti Petar u Šuma and Tinjan.

Grants are intended exclusively for manifestations that will be held in 2023 and include the costs of the program - performers, rental of equipment (stage, audio and visual technology), consumables for the realization of the manifestation, rental of space, costs of promotional material and promotion, costs of performers ( accommodation, travel expenses), security services and other justified expenses.

Beneficiaries of the funds are local self-government units, trading companies, trades, cooperatives, associations, cultural and public institutions, and other natural and legal persons.

TZ Central Istria will transfer the approved funds to the organizer upon completion of the event and upon receipt of all accompanying documentation defined by the public invitation.
