The Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County has started a new step in branding of the Split-Dalmatia County as gastronomic destinations.
After the launch of the Dalmatian Brunch project, which aims to promote the rich culinary heritage and local way of life of our region, TZ SDŽ has now launched a cycle of training on Branding tourist destinations as year-round or seasonal gourmet destinations.
So far, trainings have been held in Milna (19.4.), Omiš (22.4.), Šolta (23.4.), while another training will be held in Bol (25.4.), and all interested stakeholders in the system of tourism and related activities had are an opportunity to hear about gastronomy, its branding and the potential of gastronomy for the purpose of greater recognition of destinations. Working materials, instructions and recipes were prepared for all participants of the education and master class.
The training was prepared by a team of top experts, including Alma Harašić Bremec (ŠKMER Culinary Academy), Željko Neven Bremec (ŠKMER Culinary Academy) who is in charge of master classes on the topic of Dalmatian cuisine, and Ivan Cvitanić as an expert in destination management. The education format is based on a lecture with a think tank workshop of a total duration of eight school hours.
