On the occasion of the European Football Championship in Germany, Croatian tourist agency is in Neuruppin, the base of the Croatian national football team, organized two promotional events in order to bring Croatia closer to the citizens of Neuruppin and the Brandenburg region as a high-quality, attractive and desirable tourist destination with a variety of offers within which everyone can find content for themselves.

With this aim, a photo exhibition was opened in the premises of the city gallery "Experience Croatia". They attended the event Gordan Jandroković, President of the Croatian Parliament, Tonči Glavina, Minister of Tourism and Sports, Nico Ruhle, mayor of Neuruppin, Her. Gordan Bakota, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Germany, Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, Romeo Draghicchio, director of the HTZ Representative Office in Germany and numerous other guests. 

As part of the exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful photos of Croatian landscapes, tourist attractions, and Croatian football players, and he was among the first to view the exhibition. Sime Vrsaljko, the former Croatian national team player and the main actor of one of the most striking photographs in the exhibition, created during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. All interested visitors will be able to view the exhibition photos every day during the Euro with free admission.

"It is precisely through the synergy of sports and tourism that we can present our country in the most beautiful way possible, and that is why we wanted to use this opportunity to present Croatia not only as a sports nation, but also as a tourist destination with a rich natural, cultural, historical and wine-gastronomic offer. The most intensive part of the tourist year is ahead of us, and with these additional activities we want to encourage the arrival of new guests. We wish our Vatren a lot of luck and success, the whole of Croatia is with them, and I am sure that they will make us all proud again with their performances and present our country to the world in the best possible way" said the minister The hub.

Also, the HTZ was organized on the main city square, along with all the coastal counties a small Croatian fair where all visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the rich cultural heritage and various food and wine, and a diverse and entertaining music program has been prepared with the Šibenik klapa Sibenik. 

"Positive competitive energy and the stay of the Firemen in Neuruppin is a great reason for additional promotional activities through which we will, I'm sure, bring Croatia even closer to all the citizens and visitors of Neuruppin as an attractive tourist destination. We have prepared a rich and interesting program, and we want to make the most of the fact that our country is most recognizable in the global context precisely for tourism and sports. We believe that our activities will have a positive impact and impact on the perception of Croatia, as well as on tourist flows in the rest of the year, with special emphasis on the upcoming main summer part of the season when the largest number of guests is expected in Croatian destinations" said the director Stanicic, pointing out that it is precisely Germany the most important foreign market for Croatian tourism, which accounts for more than 20 percent of the total overnight stays.

A small Croatian fair will be open 14 i June 15, and let's add that the installed sculptures of Croatian greats who have left a great mark in Croatian and world history will also significantly contribute to the presentation of Croatia. These are the sculptures of inventors Nikola Tesla, researcher Marco Polo, a basketball player Drazen Petrović, sculptor Ivan Meštrović, a mathematician Ruđer Bošković and engineers Slavoljuba Penkala, which are positioned in different parts of the main city square.
