The eighth Crikvenica International Health Tourism Conference will be held on November 12 and 13, for the first time virtually with speakers in English
A healthy man has a thousand wishes, a sick man only one! And that is why, according to our predictions, the first branch of tourism that will recover and restart is health tourism. With this assumption, we announce the eighth in a row, the largest regional conference on health tourism CIHT (Crikvenica International Health Tourism Conference 2020).
The organizers of the most recognized health tourism conference in the region are Crikvenica Tourist Board i Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster, and traditionally co-organizers are the Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Thalassotherapia Crikvenica and the Terme Selce Polyclinic.
A full virtual conference will be held November 12 and 13 and will bring together world-renowned experts in the fields of health, tourism, marketing and education, and will be available exclusively on the digital platform by downloading the free mobile application CIHT Conference (iOS and ANDROID).
"This year we are all conditioned by the COVID-19 epidemic and although the need for health services and health tourism in this environment does not cease, the conditions of business and promotion are taking on a completely new dimension. The conference itself will offer some new digital solutions, and distinguished speakers will share their knowledge and experiences”- said doc. dr. sc. Vladimir Mozetič, MD, President of the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster, which will be attended by, among others, the Executive Director and co-founder of Health Tourism Worldwide, Laszlo Puczko, Secretary General of the European Spas Association, Csilla Mezösi, and eminent Croatian scientist Ivan Đikić .
The director of the Tourist Board of the City of Crikvenica, Marijana Biondić, who is also the initiator of the CIHT conference, pointed out that she is extremely happy and proud of the work of the entire team that enabled the continuation of the conference tradition in such exceptional circumstances. She also thanked the sponsors of the conference, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Health, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the Kvarner Tourist Board, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the City of Crikvenica, as well as partners, Sensa magazine, Zagreb City Hotels, LifeClass Terme Sveti Martin, Jadran dd Crikvenica, and many others without whom this year's edition of CIHT would not be possible.
