The new visual identity of the Virovitica-Podravina County Tourist Board was presented at the Janković Castle Visitor Center in Suhopolje. The basic sign and typography are in green, emphasizing the untouched nature, ecological and responsible tourism, while the simple inscription Slavonia and Podravina defines the new name of the destination, but also its geographical affiliation, the authors of the new visual identity explain in a press release.
“A dynamic graphic element, it is associated with the depiction of isohypses on geographical maps and follows the shape of our county, and at the same time reminds of cut wood rings and waves, implying a great wealth of forests and water surfaces. The sign consists of a total of 16 lines and not without reason. There are so many cities and municipalities in our county ”, said the President of the Tourist Board of Virovitica-Podravina County, County Prefect Igor Andrović.
The Pro Media Group agency, which is signing the new visual solution, also designed a communication identity inspired by the fact that Virovitica-Podravina County is still a relatively undiscovered destination, so an element of the unexpected has been added, which they expect will further intrigue modern travelers.
“Guests traveling through our county do not expect so much diversity in a relatively small area and are always positively surprised by the restored castles and manors on our Noble Route, excellent traditional food, forests on Bilogora and Papuk, the Drava River, ambient villages and towns, rich heritage. Therefore, we wanted to further emphasize this unexpected moment with the slogans Unexpectedly beautiful, Unexpectedly close, Unexpectedly delicious… ”, concluded Martina Jakelić, director of the Virovitica-Podravina County Tourist Board.
