The Zagreb Tourist Board has provided testing for all foreign visitors who have spent at least one night in Zagreb through its Visitor Center on Ban Josip Jelačić Square 11.

Starting with the weekend of April 10, the Zagreb Tourist Board will provide testing for foreign guests next to the Visitor Center (European Square). Thus, all visitors who have spent at least one night in Zagreb will be able to be tested on Saturdays and Sundays with prior notice.

Testing will be conducted in an ambulance, and the date must be arranged with prior notice at least 24 hours by phone or email. Antigen test results can be obtained within 15 minutes of sampling while PCR test results are waited for up to 24 hours after sampling.

"Given the demanding times we are in, we decided to make it even easier for guests to visit Zagreb or the necessary tests for coronavirus and thus, once again send a message about our city as a safe and responsible destination. Namely, during the pandemic, we pay special attention to safety because passengers primarily seek high safety standards, quality and risk-free travel ", said the director of the Tourist Board, Martina Bienenfeld.

As testing in Zagreb is more difficult to conduct on weekends, the Tourist Board wants to provide this opportunity to its visitors, so it will take place on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and non-working days from 10 am to 18 pm.

"Special thanks to the Teaching Institute for Public Health "Dr. Andrija Štampar ”and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia in support of this project and I welcome the efforts in the implementation of population vaccination, as well as the implementation of the national security protocol of MINTS - Safe Stay in Croatia. I believe that such steps enable the safe stay of our guests and play an important role in positioning Zagreb as a responsible destination", She concluded Bienenfeld.
