The first project of the Cluster of Southern Istria - Pet Friendly was presented

Recently, the Cluster of Southern Istria created a new one strategic development document until 2027, in which the first project is the branding of the entire destination of southern Istria adapted for pets or "Pet friendly".

Only two weeks later, in the Pula Tourist Board, the South Istria - Pet Friendly project was presented, which was realized with the financial support of the CNTB Association by the tourist communities of clusters in southern Istria (Pula Tourist Board, Medulin Tourist Board, Fažana Tourist Board, Vodnjan Tourist Board, Ližnjan Tourist Board). and TZ Marčana).

Given the trends and high demand for accommodation that accepts pets, the project was realized with the aim of branding the entire destination of southern Istria adapted to pets.

As more and more tourism service providers have realized the importance of the five friendly segment in the development of a tourist destination, the promotion of the project will be realized through online advertising (website www.southistria.com which is under construction and social networks) and through a brochure that was printed in a circulation of 15.000 copies. The brochure contains all the important information for pets.

Specially branded water containers and paper ecological bags will be distributed to all catering and accommodation facilities that have expressed interest in participating in the project, while unified tables will be placed on the beaches, according to the Cluster of Southern Istria. in various locations that will be used in the promotion of five friendly cluster destinations in southern Istria. 

Within the brochure and on the tables for the beaches, there will be QR codes that will allow you to connect to the website for more detailed information and offers within the cluster of southern Istria. In order to promote other segments of the tourist offer within the cluster, all other joint upcoming projects such as trail and outdoor offer, gastronomy, culture, etc. will be published on the website.
